A Grade II Listed Building, located in a conservation area on a Village Green setting in Brockham, built in 1750 this cottage was in a total state of disrepair. The original house was completely restored and the rear rebuilt and extended. This is one of our favourite pieces of work, we had fun on this project as all the right materials and finishes were used. The Builder, Dave Wilson, took his time to get the details right and it shows. Whether it’s the mouldings around the windows, the oak trusses, the entrance columns or the weather boarding lining up with the head and cill of the windows, every detail was properly executed. The owner’s favourite room in the house is the Family Room with its North American rustic ambience. The Kitchen is by Mark Wilkinson.
